Dr. Maria Montessori did not believe in academic testing for children. However, she believed that children should learn to be a part of their national and local culture. Standardized testing is now a central component of our national educational culture, and therefore Tempe Montessori School incorporates standardized testing within the educational experience of the elementary children.
