Support Assistant/Aftercare lead

Ms. Priscila Mundo Uzarraga joined our school community in May 2023 and has served in several roles, including float staff, aftercare lead, and support staff. She is passionate about lifelong learning and finds the independent nature of the Montessori environment truly compelling, believing that both students and teachers have something to learn every day. What she enjoys most about working with children is witnessing their milestones and moments of discovery, being someone students are excited to share their achievements with, and watching them puzzle through how the world works in ways that often make her reconsider her own thinking.

Ms. Priscila attended Arizona State University and will be returning to school this August to complete her Bachelor's degree after a short break. She has a particular passion for science, especially Earth and space science. Before joining our school, she worked as a peer coach for college and high school students at ASU, gaining experience with hundreds of students ranging from infants to young adults.

Outside of work, Ms. Priscila enjoys visiting museums, shopping, and spending time with friends, along with the occasional well-earned nap. Her hobbies include thrifting and antiquing, stargazing, flower arranging, and cooking, and she loves karaoke nights, movie marathons, and sharing meals with the people she cares about. A fun fact: Ms. Priscila is the second oldest of five sisters, her first language is Spanish, she has a deep fascination with outer space, and her favorite movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Ms. Priscila has been serving our community since 2023.
