PRESIDENT

Shanna is mom and stepmom to 6 awesome kids - Madilyn, Abygail, Jonathon, Parker, Colton & Bradley. She has loved being a member of the TMS community for the last 5 years and volunteering on the TEMPO Board for 4 of them. She is a 3rd generation AZ Native and loves spending time with her family in the great outdoors, enjoying good wine and celebrating life with friends.

VICE PRESIDENT

Jen is a mom of 4, Remy, Esmé, Evrynn,and Ellette, and have been at TMS since 2015. Evrynn is currently in Mrs Ashlee’s class and Ellette just started in Ms Cindy’s class. I love being a part of the TMS community and look forward to getting to know the families I haven’t met yet. I’m always learning something new; reading is one of my favorite things to do, along with yoga and Pure Barre.

SECRETARY

Katie Parker is an Associate Professor and MFA Director at Arizona State University. She has two children, Ollie and Nova who are 20-month-old boy/girl twins. Katie is also a ceramic artist working in collaboration with her husband Guy Davis under the name Future Retrieval.

TREASURER

I’m originally from the east coast but have settled into Arizona as the home for my family. We have been a part of the Tempe Montessori School community since we were welcomed at the fall festival in 2021. I’m looking forward to contributing in any way I can to the success of TEMPO and the work it does for the school.

MEMBER AT LARGE

Libby Spanovich is a mother of 5 children, Kadence (15), Kylie (13), Charlotte (11), Wrigley (9) and Danny (6). Libby is a TMS alumni. Her two oldest daughters are graduates of Tempe Montessori and the three youngest attend the Elementary program. Libby is an Independent Financial Planner.
