Primary Classroom Assistant Job Description:

Respect for the child’s independence and self-direction.
Understanding of or openness to the prepared environment.
Interest in professional development and Montessori training.
Previous classroom experience (preferred).
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain.
Aftercare Assistant Job Description:
Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a passion for working with young children.
Foster a nurturing and respectful environment.
Align with Montessori principles in daily interactions.
Maintain a peaceful and safe atmosphere for students.
Create an engaging space for learning and play after regular class hours.
Desired Qualities & Skills:
Experience working with children in a classroom, childcare, or similar setting.
Familiarity with Montessori philosophy is preferred but not required (willingness to learn is essential).
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to remain calm, attentive, and positive in a busy environment.
Reliable and punctual.
